About halfway through making this video about my time working and visiting family in Oregon, I realized how much I desperately needed this. To make something for nothing more than fun, to use just an iphone and a drone and not sweat about trying to get it to look like whatever Lubezki cinematography we’re all ripping off right now, and to take a page out of my friend Ali Edwards' book and tried not to try so hard, but find the feel and story in the week as it was happening. I missed Vanita, Mowgli, and home terribly, but I am so glad I got some adventure time in and got to share a little bit of it with you through this.
